What we set.

The complete list — three entries, on oculonsystems.com and the firm dashboard.

oc_sessionKeeps you signed in to the firm dashboard.Session — ends when you close the browser
oc_analyticsAggregate counts of page use, so we know the site works. No individual profiles.12 months
oc_prefsRemembers choices you make on the site, if you make them.12 months

Two categories that never get set — the part worth putting in writing.

What we never set.

Advertising cookies

Never

We run none. There is no setting to turn them on, because they don't exist — no ad networks, no retargeting.

Cross-site trackers

Never

Nothing that follows you from this site to another. Our cookies end at our own domain, and that's the design.

Opting out.

Every modern browser lets you block or delete cookies, site by site or everywhere. Blocking ours breaks nothing — it means signing in each visit and re-making any choices. That's the honest trade.

One note on the Iris widget itself, as it runs on firm websites: a conversation doesn't require a cookie. The widget doesn't set tracking cookies on your visitors — there's nothing to opt out of, because nothing was set.
